Year 3 has just returned from the Archaeological Museum of Udine after taking part in an exciting workshop called “The Game Chest”.
An ancient key found in the museum collections allowed the children to open a chest containing pawns and dice. Which was their purpose? Who used them and how? By carefully observing the exhibits in the rooms, they discovered how children lived in the past and how they had fun together.
Our students also created what was necessary for a slate game, using a certain amount of strategy and a bit of luck!
