On June 11th Year 7 and Year 8 classes went to the Immaginario Scientifico in Trieste to visit the museum and attend the demonstration of some of the most significant stations. The visit continued with a workshop dedicated to chemical reactions, in order to think about some phenomena related to our body and the environment that surrounds us.
The day after the students from Year 7 visited the Botto silk factory in Tarcento (UD), as a part of their Technology program. The factory produces threads and yarns inside an old historic factory that dates back to the early 20th century. This is an international reality, one of the most prestigious brands on a global level and flagship of the “Made in Italy”. At the end of the visit, the group moved to the nearby hydroelectric plant, built specifically to power the factory.
Two intensive days dedicated to science, chemistry and technology, while having a lot of fun!
