On April 8th the class of Year 3 conducted a Science workshop in class, called “Water Scientists” and proposed by CAFC – Acque del Friuli.

They discussed the importance of water and how lucky they are in living in a region that has a good amount of it. They also conducted some experiments in order to discover the difference between mixtures and solutions, to understand why objects float, to see how bubbles behave in water, to discover that water can “move” from one container to another thanks to blotting paper and finally to understand how water comes out of the tap, in this last case using a bottle, a straw and a balloon.

Given their participation, at the end of the workshop every student received a special certificate! Congratulations to all participants!
