Today
our seventh graders hosted the
"Immaginario Scientifico" of Trieste in their classroom, as part of their Science program, to talk about
the importance of preventing skin deseases thanks to a laboratory activity called
"Watch out for the sun! Good practices for feeling good in the open air."
During the activity they spoke about
UV rays and the danger they represent, expecially in certain hours of the day, also in relation to
environmental and climate changes, which amplify the risks. The laboratory was divided into four modules, which
explored the topic starting from the cell, passing through the entire human body, with a specific focus on the skin. Then a practical experiment illustrated the impact of UV rays and the importance of using sunscreen.
This initiative was also aimed to create a healthy lifestyle, promoting awareness and behaviors that can help prevent the development of skin issues!
