On the 14th of June our little ones from Nursery and Reception visited the “Punta Verde” zoo in Lignano (UD). The zoo is home to about 1000 animals belonging to over 80 different species, it is the perfect place to start learning how to take care of nature and how our lifestyle can have an impact in protecting biodiversity. One of the main missions of the Park is in fact the education of its public towards greater culture and sensitivity for the animal world and the environment, also through educational programs.
Our goal for both classes was to offer them some beautiful emotions in a pleasant environment, promoting a real contact with nature. For some of the children it was undoubtedly the first school trip of their life, and therefore it was an unforgettable day!
